Beginning January 2008, O & S Installations, LLC will offer an additional floor and tile service. Currently, we only offer our “Standard” service (best value) that includes “extras” that are labeled “additional services” by our competitors. In addition to our “Standard” service, we will offer a “Basic” service. This service is what we offer our Investors, House Flippers and Builders. The “Basic” service is our “Standard” service “without” the extras.
Through our great relationship with several building contractors, we now offer “Home Renovations”.
Unlike other companies, we have personal relationships with our installers and/or business affiliates.

Are you licensed and insured?
We are licensed and we have a $1,000,000 General Liability Policy with Nationwide Insurance. Our subcontractors also carry Worker’s Compensation Insurance. We carry the “Trusted and Verified Seal” with one of our many affiliates (only given when PROOF of insurance and licensing is provided). Does O & S Installations, LLC warranty their installation work?
Depending on your project, we provide a 1-5 year “Installation Only” warranty.
Do you provide references and/or testimonials?
A: We have four means, to inquire about our services. We will email you references of our most recent and/or past clients, that fit your criteria. Also, if you can’t give us a call, just fill out our online form – we’ll try our best, to get back to you within the hour. What do you charge and who will visit my home?
Beginning November 12, 2007, we will still offer “free” telephone and/or online estimates. We also offer an “In-Home Flooring Installation Assessment” for a minimal charge* (this charge will be used as a “credit”, if and when O & S is contracted for said services).
Mr. Gray performs all the measuring, estimating and consultations; he personally meets with each client, before the project begins. During the consultation, exact square or linear footage will be taken, plus a 10% waste factor.* Our installers do not WASTE any of your material – however, after STACKING the wood, there may be undesirable pieces (ie: knots, color variations, etc.) You are only charged, for the square footage that is ACTUALLY INSTALLED – it is always a good ideal, to keep an extra box of flooring; ie: damaged area later on. We will give you a precise list of the extras your project requires (transitions, reducers, thresholds, shoemold, underlayment, hardi-backer, etc.) and the best place to purchase your items (to save you even more money). The actual installation phase will be discussed, as well as any questions and/or concerns you may have (what type of flooring and/or tile is best, the installation process, actual cost, etc.). This process usually takes at least an hour, so please plan accordingly.
Even if you decide to use another company, you will not be “taken to the cleaners”; you will have a precise, detailed list of the EXACT materials for your project! No more, No Less!
Who will actually be performing the work from your company?
Mr. Gray is the Owner/Installation Manager of O & S Installations, LLC; each project is under his supervision. However, each crew has a designated “Project Manager”; he/she checks in with Derrick or MeMe Gray, throughout the day (as their work schedule permits). Our workers are not only our friends, but they are considered family to us. Unlike other LARGER CORPORATIONS, we have a more personal relationship, with our team. Most have provided work at our home, as well as our family members and friends. If ever a concern and/or question arises, Mr. Gray is available to address your needs.
What If I want to make a change, before or during the “installation” process?
At the start of each project, contractual terms, work required and materials are agreed upon by you and O & S Installations, LLC. We understand that changes occur, but our installers are only paid, for the work this is provided on their “work order”. Therefore, we ask that you speak directly with either Derrick or MeMe Gray, so that we may immediately provide an “addendum” to your work order. There is no need to change the original contract, but we will require that the “addendum” be revised and signed by each party, before any work proceeds.
